First Visit Special · New Clients Only · Rochester Hills, MI
One 45-minute session. Pharmaceutical-grade halotherapy. See what your lungs feel like when they actually clear.
No membership required · Adults 18+ · New clients only
What Happens
No prep required. No special clothing. You show up, sit back, and breathe. Here's what to expect.
Leave your shoes at the door and step into the cave. Find your seat, get comfortable, and settle in. The room is quiet and screen-free.
A commercial-grade halogenerator disperses 99.99% pharmaceutical sodium chloride into the air as micro-particles. You breathe it in naturally — no effort, no equipment, no inhalers.
Some people sleep. Some meditate. Some just sit. The salt does the work. You'll notice your breathing shift during the session — most people feel clearer by the time it ends.
Clearer airways. Looser chest. Quieter sinuses. Some people notice it immediately, others feel it the next morning. Either way — you'll know if this is something you want to keep doing.
Why It Works
Salt walls and lamps do nothing therapeutically — confirmed by the Salt Therapy Association, the American Chemical Society, and researchers at Columbia University Medical Center. What produces results is a halogenerator — a machine that breaks pharmaceutical-grade salt into particles small enough to reach deep into your airways.
One 45-minute session delivers the equivalent salt particle exposure of 7 to 8 hours inside a natural Eastern European salt mine. That's the same environment where miners historically had near-zero rates of respiratory illness. Salinair has been running this technology in Rochester Hills for over 10 years.
Who Comes In
Halotherapy is a natural, drug-free complement to managing a wide range of respiratory, skin, and stress-related conditions. It doesn't replace your doctor — it works alongside what you're already doing.
Always continue prescribed medications. Halotherapy is a complementary wellness service, not a medical treatment.

"Had a thoroughly lovely experience! Olga gave a warm welcome, a brief but detailed history of salt therapy, and a clear explanation of what to expect since it was our first time. We were offered water or hot tea before getting started. Left feeling great — we will be back!"

Common Questions
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — all sessions are by appointment. Book online through the link on this page or call or text us at (248) 747-0543.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing. We provide booties to wear inside the cave. Leave your shoes at the entrance. No special prep needed.
Is it safe if I have high blood pressure?
Yes. During a 45-minute session you receive no more than 45mg of salt — less than typical daily food intake. The salt enters your respiratory system, not your digestive system. Continue all prescribed medications and check with your doctor if you have specific concerns.
Will I notice something on my first visit?
Most people do — clearer breathing, a looser chest, or just 45 minutes of genuine quiet. Some notice increased coughing or nasal drip at first, which is the salt loosening buildup. This is normal and settles quickly. Results compound with consistent sessions.
Is the $37 rate only for new clients?
Yes — this is a first visit special for adults who have never been to Salinair before. One per person.
